We were appointed by YData to specifically handle the media announcement of the startup’s $2.7m seed funding round, aimed at supporting the company’s international expansion.

YData created the first data preparation platform to accelerate the development of AI solutions, it is the only product that brings together the major data science frameworks combined with proprietary tools for data access and profiling, data generation and labelling, to deliver better data quality for AI.

We worked alongside YData and key investors including Flying Fish Partners, a US fund that specialises in AI, Faber, EDP Ventures and Real Ventures, to develop a media announcement that worked for all parties involved in the round, which would also, appeal to media in both Europe and the USA, YData’s key markets.

Harnessing relationships with existing and new media contacts, the Astute team placed news of YData’s seed funding in a number of influential tech and AI titles including, EU-Startups, Tech.eu, Silicon Canals, FinSMEs and AiThority.

To extend awareness of the funding round beyond the initial raise story, as well as the company’s (then) imminent move to Seattle, we also delivered interviews with YData’s founders, Fabiana and Gonçalo in key publications such as Unite AI, TechRound and the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Upon completion of the campaign, the total reach of all online coverage was in excess of 2 million monthly users globally, based on websites’ readership data.
